Ethical Corporation announce its new new-look event TRANSFORM
London, 25 April 2019
For 14-years Ethical Corporation has run the world-renowned Responsible Supply Chain Summit, providing companies with practical ideas and new connections to help solve the key supply chain issues and opportunities. The past couple of years has seen a significant shift where both procurement and sustainability teams have discussed the challenges on a how business can embed sustainability at the heart of supply chain activities.
This shift has been amplified by the increased focus on Circular systems – companies are having to look both up and down their value chain. To reflect the required shift in action this year the event has been rebranded under the banner TRANSFORM and showcase leading companies that are delivering transformational changes up and down their value chain.
Transform 2019 will be taking place in Amsterdam on 16-17 October 2019 and will be co-located with the market-leading Sustainability Reporting and Communications Summit. Some of the key areas of focus include:
Minimising GHG emissions across the value chain
Integrating renewables across the supply chain – reducing costs and impacts
The quest to replace plastic packaging
From pilot to scale – How can companies mainstream a circular system
Embedding human rights and environmental data within the procurement process
Transforming supply chains through transparency and collaboration
Companies must undertake a transformative approach to their whole value chain to address the societal and environmental challenges we face. This year’s new and improved event will welcome 250+ CEOs, heads of business, investors and NGOs to address the increasing overlap and opportunities found up and down a company’s value chain
