The organization is headquartered in Amsterdam and works closely with its partner network in Africa, Asia and Latin America. We are looking to hire a:

 

Member Support Officer – Hazelnut – Turkish, English and Dutch
(24-32 hours/week)

As a Member Support Officer Hazelnut you will be responsible for providing UTZ hazelnut members (e.g. farmers, traders, manufacturers, retailers) with accurate support on the new UTZ traceability system. Furthermore you communicate new functionalities and changes in this system to all stakeholders, one-on-one or in groups. You also collect feedback from members and inform the UTZ Technology department about usability. You thoroughly revise and translate training materials and you provide input for development of support materials.

You like and you are able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic work environment. With understanding of business software users’ needs as well as strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
you effectively support members and achieve high user satisfaction of the support and trainings offered.

The Member Support Officer reports to the Head of Member Support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Relationship management and customer satisfaction of UTZ members in the hazelnut sector

  • Provide information and  technical  support in various languages (including Turkish) to members on the use of the new UTZ  traceability system

  • Translate and update manuals, training materials and FAQ’s in Turkish

  • Assist in delivering training and webinars to different user types of the UTZ traceability system.


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

·         Native Turkish, excellent business speaking and writing

·         Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch, preferably also in German

·         Service orientedand excellent communication skills

·         Minimum 1 year experience in international customer (business to business) relations

·         User literacy in IT systems (ERP / CRM or traceability)

·         Accuracy, proactive mentality and problem solving skills

·         Bachelor degree

Employment will be based on 24-32 hours a week, for an initial period of 6 months. The position is based in Amsterdam and implies occasional travel to clients and producers. This position is open to applicants of all nationalities, however, we can only consider candidates who have or do not need a work and residency permit for the Netherlands.
