Job Description:

The Corporate Affairs and Sustainability team promotes Gatwick's interests
from the airport and local community all the way to the European Parliament.
Our team's main function is to protect and enhance our reputation as a
business in strategic ways.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Reporting Executive to
work with the Gatwick Corporate Affairs and Sustainability team to help drive
the next 5 years in our Sustainability Strategy – the Decade of Change. The
Airport has improved it’s performance on a wide range of sustainability
measures year on year, and with increasing passenger numbers and an extensive
Capital Investment programme, the team will drive forward the collection and
analysis, reporting, auditing and certification for the Gatwick Decade of
Change Strategy with no impact on operations of the world’s busiest single
runway airport.

The Role

As the Sustainability Reporting Executive, this role will support the
Sustainability Manager with the internal coordination, collection and
analysis of evidence and reporting on the sustainability strategy which is to
be the UK’s most sustainable airport. Experienced in the methodology to
establish best practices, emerging trends and monitor government initiates
this position will work with a small but established team and contribute to
the development and execution of the strategy. The role will interface with
the Gatwick Airport Communications teams, Community Engagement teams, and
other key departments to help establish the sustainability communication
channels and content for our internal and external stakeholders. As a
researcher, reviewer, collector and analyser of key metrics and information
this role will require strong skills and an aptitude for data collection and
analysis.
