The 16th Annual Responsible Business Summit will bring together over 500 senior global business in June 2017 to discuss how to push the sustainable business agenda

In light of the recent UK referendum and US election business faces uncertain times. What is a certainty is the need for organisations from across the globe to come together to continue to push the sustainable and responsible business agenda.

In 2017, Ethical Corporation is looking to expand and evolve its flagship Responsible Business Summit Europe. The Summit will focus on moving business towards genuine positive impact. The agenda focusses on inspiring responsible strategies to drive social purpose, profit and change, with quantified impact and empirical justification.

The ‘Social Purpose and Impact’ focused agenda covers:

  • The end of CSR and the dawn of the Social Purpose Era: Understanding how the landscape is changing, the opportunities that align commercial and financial goals with macro societal

  • Social purpose and Impact: Using the right data to mitigate risks, measure impact and progress, deliver trust and positive social transformation

New for 2017 are 2-hour workshops that delve into the key issues and topics faced in 2017. All workshops will be held under Chatham House rules to allow for frank and honest discussion. Some workshops will be split by sector to allow for targeted and impact-driven conversations. Some of the confirmed workshops include; Going beyond compliance in Human Rights, tackling deforestation, integrating the SDGs into corporate strategy, circular economy and moving from waste to wealth to name a few.
