Aston hosts a free online webinar on Sustainable Development and Sustainability Solutions. Wednesday 8th May, 12pm BST

An online webinar run by Aston Business School, a world-class, triple-accredited School, explores the topic of Sustainable Development and Sustainability Solutions. Held on Wednesday 8th May at 12pm BST, it is open to all and free to attend. Book a place to be part of the discussion.

Of interest to all those concerned with fashioning a better future, Dr John Blewitt will explore the growing use of resilience in discussions around sustainable development and sustainability solutions. Drawing from some of the findings of a soon to be published book by Dr John Blewitt and Daniella Tilbury, Searching for Resilience in Sustainable Development (Routledge-Earthscan, 2013), John will show how different interpretations of this key term leads to different types of policies and actions.

John will be using examples from the fields of business and the economy, eco-urban development, community regeneration, homelessness, individual psychology conservation and education. He will also discuss how the concept of resilience is addressed in Aston’s new innovative MSc Social Responsibility & Sustainability.

As the MSc course co-director, Dr John Blewitt’s webinar also offers interested students the perfect opportunity to find out more.

The MSc programme, offered both full-time and part-time via distance learning, offers an opportunity to study at a world-class business school with a real commitment to ethics and the social and natural environment.
